Incidentally, the audio launch function of this film is going to be held at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad today. Usually,Venkatesh will be celebrating his birthdays in foreign countries every year and this time he has decided to celebrate his birthday with his fans. He was born to producer D Ramanaidu and Rajeshwari in Chennai on December 13, 1960.

He made his successful debut as hero with Kaliyuga Pandavulu in 1986 which earned him his first Nandi Award for best male debut actor of the year. According to the Director this movie is based on separate Telangana state movement and the Struggle of the people living in Telangana to save their history and culture. Racha movie starring Ram Charan andTamanna is curently progressing at Talakona forest near Tirupati, where the unit is canning a action episode on Ram Charan, Tamanna and other under the supervision of Fight Master Stun Shiva .
Racha is an out and out mass entertainer and it will have high voltage special action episodes. Allan-Amin, Ram Lakshamanand Stun Siva are composing action episodes for Racha. Sampath Nandi is directing this film under Mega Super Good Movies banner. Manisharma is the music director. The movie is expected to be release in the month of March.
Vidya Balan’s The Dirty Picture which was released in Telugu and Tamil along with original Hindi version has proved to be a big hit at the box office. It has collected close to Rs. 65 crore nett in just ten days, that too only in India.
The Dirty Picture collected 11 crore nett in its second weekend at Indian box office. This proves that the film hasn’t lost the steam and is likely to rake in few more crores before the business comes to an end.
As per early estimates The Dirty Picture is likely to join the 100 crore club and if it does, it would be a phenomenal feat for a film which has no big star to boast of. With the inspiration of TDP, many more Dirty Pictures are in pipeline, says the buzz.
Super hit Tamil film Ko, which was also a big hit in Telugu as Rangam is all set to go to Bollywood soon. Popular directorPrakash Jha is planning to remake it in Hindi. The cast and crew haven’t been finalized yet.
Earlier there was buzz that Akshay Kumaris keen on doing the lead role in Hindi remake of Rangam. Later we heard that the original director K.V. Anand is in plans to direct the Hindi version. However, the film finally landed in Prakash Jha’s hands.
Rangam has been praised as the best scripts in the recent times and if handled well it is likely to click in Hindi too. Let’s wait and see who will play the roles of Jeeva and Ajmal in the Hindi version.
Pawan Kalyan’s Panjaa opened to negative talk and the talk hasn’t improved until now. Even though the collections in the first weekend are pretty good, Panjaa should hold its ground at least for couple more weeks to enter the safe zone.
Adding to the woes of Panjaa, the pirates are attacking the film black and blue. Producers of Panjaa have failed utterly in controlling the piracy. Despite all their warnings and efforts, Panjaa piracy prints are being shared and circulated online.
If they couldn’t completely erase these off, Panjaa will surely face bigger problems at the box office. Pawan Kalyan’s previous film Theenmaar faced similar problems, whereas his successful Jalsa wasn’t attacked in this aggressive fashion.
Director Puri Jagannath is the best among his contemporaries when it comes to finishing off a film on schedule. In the modern times, nothing can be predicted and could be done in time. Even seasoned directors are facing problems with getting their project ready within less time.
But Puri Jagannadh said that he would complete Businessman film in just 75 days and as he told, the film is ready in 74 days. This is not a mean feat as the film has one of the biggest stars in the lead. Any director would take at least six months to wrap up aMahesh Babu’s film.
Puri proved that even a Mahesh Babu film could be completed in time if they have pucca script and schedule on hand. Businessman will be releasing on January 11 without any delay.
Nandamuri Taraka Ratna, who is requesting fans and media to address him as NTR in short, is planning to release his latest filmNandeeswarudu on a high scale. This movie is slated for release on December 23. Nagarjuna’s Rajanna is hitting the marquee on the same day.
Rajanna is carrying high expectations and being aware of it, Tarak is ready to throw a challenge at it. Taraka Ratna hasn’t scored single hit in his entire career so far and it is interesting to see how his film would survive against the biggest opponent.
Nandeeswarudu is a remake of Kannada hit Deadly Soma. Tarak is extremely confident about the film to give him the first taste of success.

Uday Kiran’s film Nuvvekkadunte Nenakkadunta is also slated for release on this Friday. Priyamani’s Kshetram too is gearing up, but nothing has been confirmed regarding its release. Journey is likely to take a good start at the box office, due to the buzz surrounding it.

Pawan Kalyan fans have yet another reason to rest assured of Gabbar Singhsuccess. Osthe, the Tamil version of Dabangg, which was released on Thursday, has been getting superb response. Critics tagged the film as extremely entertaining and the response from general public is exhilarating.
Dabangg’s Telugu version Gabbar Singh’s shooting is currently happening in Pollachi.Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead in it. Harish Shankar is the director. Dabangg is the film which had put Salman Khan back on track. So Power fans expect Gabbar Singh to do the same for Pawan.

SFG is a short film competition organized by The Sight media and Filmgala. The stage was set to give away SFG awards and the grand celebration of Mankatha 100th day.The ever cool Mankatha team arrived at the venue around 6.30 in the evening and occupied the elite seats in front of the world class stage at Kotturpuram. With Badava Gopi as the host it was all set to be an exciting few hours. Gopi is not new to Venkat Prabhu as he was the commentator in the movie Chennai 600028.The event was filled with dance shows from various groups which set the stage on fire. The singing of 'super singer' Sathya Prakash impressed one and all. Venkat Prabhu and company gave away the awards to the winners from SFG 2011. The surprise element in the event was Gangai Amaren's surprise entry arranged by The Sight media. The 500 odd crowd went mad after the team took the stage along with veteran film maker Kasthuri Raja, to declare the Mankatha 100th day celebration by cutting a massive cake .Gangai Amaren who is renowned for his effective speech skills, didn't disappoint any. He had lots of words to praise his sons Venkat Prabhu and Premgi Ameran and the super cool Mankatha team. He also revealed the fact that it was him who gave the most innovative and successful idea of portraying Ajith with grey hair yet not loosing his charm in the film Mankatha.Venkat Prabhu said he was very much impressed by short films of recent times. He said that short films are the portals into the industry. He specifically mentioned that film makers today are looking at short films for actors, directors and technicians. He said that he has a 'Big' plan for short films which he is currently working on. He said that he did not want to reveal the plan till it was completely worked out, he said. He also lauded the organizers for the event. All the excitement came to an end by 10.30pm. Venkat Prabhu and team were present till the last man got out of the auditorium.

He had neither any filmy background nor an influential family to boost his career! But he rewrote every record in Tamil Cinema and today, he is the most influential man in India; yes, we are indeed talking about our Superstar Rajinikanth (who shares his birthday with the legendary thespian Dilip Kumar)! Born as Shivaji Rao Gaikwad in a Maharashtrian family, he lost his mother at the age of five. He was the fourth child to his parents, Jija bai and Ramoji Rao. Rajinikanth did his schooling at the Acharya Patasala, Bangalore and Vivekananda Balak Sangh, a unit of the Ramakrishna Mission. The latest controversy is that a city court in Andhra Pradesh has directed the police to book actress Vidya Balan for posing indecently on the film's posters and other publicity material. The Nampally Criminal Court passed the order based on a petition filed by advocate S.K.Azad. The petitioner said the posters and hoardings of the film were spoiling the minds of the people and causing harm to the society and hence requested the police to book Vidya Balan under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and also Indian Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986.
